Inspired by clear full moons lighting up the sea and sky as they rise from what seems like the ocean, because of the protection of the dark skies and low levels of light pollution, this always seems so much more dramatic on these shores. I’ve added luminosity to this painting through the use of iridescent paint for the moon and rays casting their light on the calm water.
